Our room faced west, so our view was of the shrub border (in the parking lot). If you want a room with a view, choose the top floor (ie: 4th), and in the middle of the building and facing southeast.
There was no balcony and our window was small.

There are large chain stores for shopping within walking distance. 7 Oaks Mall and Highstreet for hardcore shoppers. You’ll need transport to access these bad boys.
There are restaurants nearby ā small, large (OSF, Wings), fast food (McDonalds, KFC, BK, DQ) and coffee (Starbucks), western (Boston Pizza) and ethnic (small mom-and-pops). According to Google’s Street View, there is a drive-through corn hut. I didn’t see one. (But, he picture captured the gas at $1.22/L, which is a price that we saw how many years ago?)
